Enslaved through Transatlantic Trade, entrepreneur, writer and abolitionist Olaudah Equiano paved his way to freedom by selling puncheons of rum. From the Caribbean to the Arctic and beyond, Equiano lectured, wrote and petitioned parliaments for his belief that all people should be equal and free. His efforts informed the Slave Trade Act of 1807, influencing the freedom of people all over the world.
Today, we celebrate those freedoms and continue to work closely with Anti-Slavery International to impact thousands of lives every year.
As such, £1 of every sweatshirt sold will go to Anti-Slavery International.
